On Saturday July 1, 2023, Ronald Doakes, Sr. transitioned from this earthly place to his heavenly mansion. Mr. Ronald Doakes, Sr. was born November 2, 1964, in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Mrs. Jeanetta Doakes and Mr. Jasper Doakes Jr. He is preceded in death by his mother Jeanetta Doakes, father Jasper Doakes Jr., brothers Wayne and Derek Doakes, grandparents Morris and Edna Joseph, Valder and Jasper Doakes Sr., and Aunt Sheila Joseph. He leaves to celebrate his memory, son Ronald Doakes Jr., daughter Ronica Renee` Doakes, granddaughter Milan Macie Taylor, and daughter-in-law Kiana C. Doakes. Brothers Terrance Doakes and Keith Camel Jr., sister Tramecha Rankins, stepmother Tonja Doakes, aunt Valder Beebe (James) of Dallas, TX, Uncle Morris Joseph Jr, along with a host cousins and other beloved relatives and friends.
