Ricardo Michael Bevrotte – passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at the age of 67. Ricky was affectionately known to family and friends as “Pretty Ricky” or “Ricky Packy.” He graduated from St. Augustine High School in 1969, where he played the trumpet and was a member of “The Marching 100” band. Throughout his career, Ricky was employed by both Texaco and Sanderson Farms. Ricky leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved parents, Janice and Charles (Packy) Bevrotte III; brother, Maceo (Jennifer) Bevrotte; nieces and nephews, Carrie (Jerome) Fernandez, Erin Bevrotte (Michael White) and Ryan (Daisy) Bevrotte; great nieces and nephews, Camren and Sydney Bevrotte, Daniela Serrato, Mario Anaya and Gavin Ferandez; aunts, Eva LaBeau, Charlene Schexnider and Shirley Pijeaux; and a host of other family members and friends. Ricky is preceded in death by his grandparents, Beulah Lee, James Long, August Lee, Eunice Pijeaux and Charles Bevrotte, Jr.; aunt, Ateja Long Bush; and uncles, Norman LaBeau, Rodney Schnexnider and Walter Pijeaux.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 10:00AM at St. Raymond-St. Leo Catholic Church, 2916 Paris Ave., New Orleans, LA. Visitation will be held from 9:00AM until the hour of service. Interment will follow at Providence Memorial Park, 8200 Airline Dr., Metairie, LA..
