Del’Mon “Dee” Rene Steib – age 21, passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 in Slidell, LA. Del’Mon was a 2015 graduate of Warren Easton Charter High School, attended Delgado Community College and studied at Xavier University where he planned to become a pharmacist. Del’Mon is preceded in death by his father, Dallas Jerome; grandmother, Yolanda Jerome; and great-great grandmothers, Rosia Lyles and Dorothy Jerome. He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Courtnay Brumfield; his dad, Cantrelle Brumfield; brothers, Dallas Steib, Cantrelle Brumfield Jr. (Avion), and Dakoda Brumfield; sisters, Denver Steib and Cennedi “Lulu” Brumfield; nephew, Cantrelle “Three” Brumfield III; grandmothers, Leslie Rene Steib and Lilian Brumfield; grandfather, Marvin Clyde Goodwin; great-grandmother, Shirley Lyles Steib; aunts, Raven and Jasmine Steib (Paris), Antoinette Skipper, and Laurie and Gabrielle Jerome; uncles, Brian Steib, Kenneth Lewis, Kendrick Jones and Sherman Skipper; and a host of other cousins, aunts, relatives and friends.
Services will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 11:00AM at Second Baptist Church 6th District, 4218 Laurel St., New Orleans, LA.
Visitation will be held from 9:00AM until the hour of service. Interment will follow at Lake Lawn Park Cemetery, 5454 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA.
