Toney Perrier

Tony Perrier, a lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA. On May 19, 2025, Tony Perrier Sr. entered into eternal rest. Tony was born on March 30, 1948, in New Orleans, LA, to the late Louis II and Lola Perrier. Tony was educated in the Orleans Parish School System. He accepted the Lord as his Savior at an early age at New Birth Baptist Church, where he song in the choir. For 40 plus years, Tony worked with the Housing Authority of New Orleans as a Plumber and Carpenter. Tony leaves to cherish his memories; a loving wife of 30 years; Myra Nelson-Perrier; his siblings, Paul (Barbara) Perrier, Walter (Debbie) Perrier, Anthony (Bridgette) Perrier, Sandy (Mary) Perrier, Dianne (Kenneth) Taylor, Alvoria (Jerry) Fields; three daughters; Tanya (La Roy) Perrier-Cobbs, Twania (Patrick) Gautreaux and Tamika (Renell) Stewart; three sons; Tony Jr. (Jennifer) Perrier, Terrell (Aime) Perrier and Myrio (Shantel) Perrier; 26 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, sister in-law; Gloria Perrier, brother in-law; Noah Crockett; daughter in-law; Deidre Evans-Nelson and many extended family members and friends. Tony was proceeded in death by his parents; Lola and Louis Perrier II, sister; Barbara Ann Crockett, brothers; Lawrence Perrier and Louis Perrier III, grandchildren; Makalia and Tyus Perrier, stepson Lovell Nelson, mother and father in-law Ella Mae and Robert Nelson Sr. Relatives and friends of the family is invited in celebration service honoring the life and legacy of the late Tony Perrier Sr. Service will be held at Gentilly Baptist Church, 5141 Franklin Ave. New Orleans, LA 70122 on May 31, 2025 at 2pm. Visitation starts at 1pm.
