Early Life Bobby was born on [03/01/1966) in New Orleans, LA to the late Robert Alfred Smith Sr. and Zenobia Gray Smith. Bobby was the youngest of 7 children and was raised in the Lower 9th Ward surrounded by family, faith, and love. Education Bobby received his education at Alfred Lawless School. He was known for his smile, loving his cars and cleaning his vehicles, caring for his wife and family, and dressing. Faith At an early age, Bobby accepted Christ and became a member of Amozion Baptist Church. Throughout his life, his faith remained an important source of strength and guidance. Career & Accomplishments Bobby dedicated multiple years to Sewerage & Water Board of New Orleans, Pontchartrain, and BMW of New Orleans where he was admired for his work ethic, leadership, and dedication to his career. He took great pride in his work ethic and always providing for his family. A Life of Love More than anything, Bobby loved his family. He found joy in spending time with his wife, grandchildren, and sisters. Kelly and Bobby began their union 24 years ago. Those who knew Bobby will always remember him for his hustler mentality or sense of humor, style, making memories with his grandkids, generosity, and strength. He had a special way of making you laugh, boosting your confidence, and encouraging you to keep going. He left an unforgettable impression on everyone he encountered. Precious Memories Bobby was preceded in death by Zenobia Gray Smith (Mother), Robert Alfred Smith Sr. (Father), Carolyn Jackson (Sister), Byron Jackson (Nephew), and Khloe’ Jackson (Great Niece). He leaves to cherish his precious memory: his beautiful wife Kelly Ann Smith; children Robert Alfred Smith III, Robbreion Green, Ureka Thomas (Gilbert), Deangelo and Anthony Hayes, 17 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; siblings Ronnie (Janice), Shelia (Lester), Gwendolyn, Debbie (Leo Sr), Dinana, Jaylane, and a hosts of aunts/uncles, nieces/nephews, cousins, extended family members, devoted friends, and loved ones. Though Bobby is no longer physically with us, the love, lessons, laughter, and beautiful memories he shared will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. “To live in the hearts we leave behind is not to die.”
