Mayson Richards

Mayson Kia Richards was native of New Orleans born to Hasaniik (China) Brasan Richards and Brian Mc Kinney on January 21, 2019. He was a Kindergarten Student at KIPP Leadership. He departed this life on April 10. 2025 at the age of 6. He was the beloved grandson of Brandy Richards and the late Hasan Simms (maternal) and the late Carla Lynette Noel and Brian McKinney (Paternal) He will be cherished by his Uncles Hasan Mosley and Brenan Richards (Maternal) Bobby Noel and his Aunt Natalie Noel (Paternal). He is survived by a host of cousins, great cousins, great uncles and aunts, great great aunts and uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his Grand Parents Hasan Simms (Maternal) and Carla Lynette Noel (Paternal) Great Grand Parents Joyce Ann Claiborne Simms and Owens James Davillier Sr. (Maternal) LizzieMae and Josh Austin (Paternal). He will be cherished by his KIPP Leadership friends, teachers, and staff. Relatives, Friends, and Family are invited to attend the funeral services on Saturday, April 26,2025 at 10:00am at Greater Morning Star Church of Algiers,1242 Valletta St., New Orleans, LA., 70114. Visitation will begin at 9:00 until the hour of service. Interment: Providence Memorial Park Cemetery Metairie, LA.
