Mark Fitzgerald Taylor departed this life on September 10, 2026, at the age of 61. Born on February 24, 1965, Mark lived a life marked by family, friendship, service, and the relationships he built throughout the years.

Mark proudly served his country as a United States Army veteran, a distinction that remained an important part of his life and legacy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Taylor Sr. and Martha Taylor, and his beloved son, Mark Fitzgerald Taylor Jr.

Mark leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Antia Taylor; his son, Wamorena Mhlanga; and his three grandchildren, Justin White II, London Crutchfield, and Nathan Crutchfield.

He also leaves behind his two brothers, Alfred Taylor and Ryan (Candice) Taylor; his four sisters, Susan (Derrek) Reese, Katherine Carter, Malinda (Patrick) Johnson, and Nadiyah Taylor; and his longtime best friend, Saul Vinning.

Mark will also be lovingly remembered by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were touched by his presence.

As his family mourns his passing, they will hold close the memories, lessons, laughter, and love that Mark leaves behind. His service to his country, his place within his family, and the relationships he formed throughout his life will remain a lasting part of his legacy.

May his memory forever live in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
