Lawrence Delton Julien, Sr.

With a look of determination and praise on his heart, Lawrence Delton Julien, Sr. took his last breath on May 31, 2022, at Bayside Healthcare Center in Gretna, Louisiana and entered eternal glory. His start on this earth began October 6, 1935, in New Orleans, Louisiana, born to the union of the late Lawrence Julien and Alice Phyllis Terry Green.

Lawrence was known for his superb cooking skills; he was a chef for over 35 + years working offshore. He leaves to cherish his loving memory his children, Ledonia Collins, Donald Zina, Ronnie and Shenette Julien, Corey Carter, Lawrence Julien, Jr., Cyril Julien and Mable Denise Julien-Taylor (Michael). and his special care giver, his niece LaTanya Bethea (James Bethea III) His Siblings (brothers) Terry and Stafford Julien, (sisters) Constance, Estelle and Martha.

He is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins’ family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife Janice Julien, parents Lawrence Julien & Alice T. Julien Green, daughter Lois, son Marcus, siblings Rutherford, Waldwin and Allegretta.
