Kevin Johnson Sr. September 2, 1975 – March 29, 2023

Kickoff for Kevin Johnson Sr. was September 2, 1975 in New Orleans, La., to the late Timothy Johnson Sr. and Lula Mae Johnson. He touchdown in heaven to be with the Lord on March 29, 2023, at the age of 47. Kevin attended New Orleans, Louisiana public school system. After the devastation of hurricane Katrina, Kevin moved to Memphis Tennessee and worked as a chef. He missed his hometown and recently decided there was no place like home. Kevin moved back to New Orleans and immediately started working at Rouses Supermarket as a cook.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his beloved son Kevin Johnson Jr., his brother Timothy Johnson Jr., his sisters, Michelle Robertson (Travis), Linda Brown (Romell Sr.), and Candace Johnson, his fiancé, Kellie Cannatella, Grandmother Lula Mae Lewis, Godparents Calvin Rayford and Linda Lewis, Stepmother Patricia Johnson, 3 stepsisters and 1 stepbrother. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family, friends and colleagues. Kevin was preceded in death by his parents Timothy Johnson Sr. and Lula M. Johnson, great grandmother Inez Rayford, granddad Doc Rayford, grandparents Authur Lewis, Clifford and Betty Johnson, nephew Timothy Johnson Jr. 111,
