Jules Dantin

On Thursday, September 18, 2025 at the age of 66, Jules Joseph Dantin son of the late Carlota W. Dantin (Tony) and Earl Joseph Dantin, Sr. finished his earthly life to spend eternity with his Lord, Jesus Christ. Jules was born on April 10, 1959 in New Orleans, Louisiana and was a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish. He was the loving brother of Suzanne Freeman, Theresa Topey, Desiree Emmons, Kristie Harper, and the late Earl Dantin, Jr. He was devoted to his lifelong love and wife, Tammy Couvillon. They have three children together. He was a loving father to Cassie Cucinella, Clint Cucinella, Sr., Jason Cantrell, Arielle Couvillon, Jules (Joey) Dantin and Carly Dantin. He was also the proud grandfather of 8 grandchildren. He was blessed with nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces/nephews and friends who he loved deeply. Jules was a giving man who always put others before himself. He would do without so he could give to others. He has blessed so many people, even strangers, with generous acts of kindness; some we may never know about. He was a man of prayer who trusted God and would share his faith with anyone. A celebration of life will be held at The Knights of Columbus at 2107 Paris Road in Chalmette on Saturday, November 1, 2025 from 11 am - 1:00 pm. We will have refreshments after the service. Friends and family are welcome. We appreciate all that have reached out and prayed for our family.
