Joseph Peters

Joseph Anthony Peters was born to Louis Peters Sr. and Lucy Boree’ Peters on January 22, 1958, in New Orleans, La. Joseph received his high school diploma at Joseph S. Clark Sr. High School. He pursued a career as a maintenance operation supervisor at Children’s Hospital for over 25 years. His last occupation was at Corpus Christi Epiphany Church as a facilities specialist. Joseph departed life on September 10, 2026, at the age of 68. He was the youngest of twelve children, Joseph was the loving father of, Kenyetta Green (Johnnie Jr.), Marquita Peters (Justin), and Christiann Peters (Ghirmay Jr.). He was a dedicated Grandfather of Johnnie III, Brandon Jr., Ja’mya, Sarai, Ghirmay III, and Semere. He was an amazing brother to Joann Logan, Cornell Peters Sr. (Kim), and Eurydice Peters. He also had four generations of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. We must acknowledge his great niece Jaidyn Campbell who was dear to his heart and nephew Robert Taylor Sr. who never left his side. He was proceeded in death by his parents Louis and Lucy Peters. His siblings, Louis Peters Jr., Vivian Wilfred, Rosemary Cannon, Louella Taylor, Tyrone Peters, Charles Peters, Eric Peters and Cynthia DeCuire.
