Jason Evans

Jason Michael Evans Jr. was born on October15, 2007, in Jefferson, Louisiana to Shantell Turner and Jason Evans Sr. Jason departed this life to rest peacefully in the arms of The Lord on November 11, 2025. Jason is survived by his mother Shantell Turner, father Jason Evans Sr, grandmother Lisa Turner; grandfather Ronald Evans, great-grandmother Sharon Turner LaFrance, his siblings and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Joyce Grubbs Evans, whom we take comfort in knowing welcomed him with open arms. From a young age, he displayed a vibrant spirit, a kind heart, and a natural ability to bring joy to those around him with his contagious, bright smile. He was truly a gift to all who had the privilege of knowing him. Jason attended The Net (Central City), Lafayette Academy, Sophie B. Wright, and the Louisiana National Guard Youth Challenge Program, where he excelled and built lifelong friendships. More than anything, Jason was devoted to his family and friends. His love for his mom, siblings, aunts, uncles, and many cousins knew no boundaries. He took great pride in being a loyal son, brother, nephew, and cousin. We will forever carry him in our hearts.

Jason's homegoing services will be held on Tuesday November 18, 2025 at Reaping the Harvest International Church located at 5123 Dauphine St. New Orleans, La 70117 , Apostle Troy Lawrence Sr. – Officiant Viewing is for 9 a.m. Service will begin at 10 a.m.
