George J Westley

George J Westley, was born August 4, 1943 to the late Esther Wesley and James Calicote. He was called home to be with the Lord on March, 1, 2023 at the age of 79.  He leaves to cherish his memories his sons Derek (Cynthia) and Taiwo, his daughter Melanie, grandchildren, siblings, George is survived by his sons Derek and Taiwo; Derek’s wife Cynthia; his beloved daughter, Melanie; his grandchildren, Daniel, Daniel’s wife Italya, Eric, Eric’s wife Pati, James-Earl, and Lauren; his great grandson, Ilais.  He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, God children, church family, friends and colleagues.

• Funeral will be held at New Hope Baptist Church, 1807 Rev. John Raphael Jr. Way, New Orleans, LA., 70113 on Friday, March 10, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Jamaal
  Weathersby.

• Visitation will at 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
