Cynthia A. Blunt-Scott 

On Saturday, June 1,2024, Cynthia Ann Blunt- Scott, a resident of LaPlace, La passed away at the age of 70.  Cynthia, born on February 7, 1954, to the union of the late Marie Anderson-Blunt and Sidney Blunt Jr. in New Orleans, La.  She was the loving wife of Larry Scott. Stepmother to Monica (Louis) Lollis, Yashica (John) Wilkerson and Stephanie (Tory) Johnson and 8 grandchildren.

Sister of Gilbert, Peggy B. Patterson, Patricia, George (Elyria), Elma B. Barre’ and Erma Blunt and the late Sidney III, Edward and Barbara. Sister-in-law to late Eloise G. Blunt and Stanley Barre' Jr.   

Cynthia graduated from Booker T. Washington, Class of 1972. She went on to work for Touro Infirmary for 30 years and dedicated 19 years to Ochsner Hospital.

 1616 Robert C. Blakes Dr. New Orleans, LA 70130 on Friday, June 14,2024. Visitation from 9:00 am- 10:00 am and services 10:00 am-11:00 am. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
