Corvell Leman Armwood departed this life on Monday, June 13, 2022 at Ochsner Medical Center, 1514 Jefferson Hwy, New Orleans, LA at the age of 52. He leaves to cherish precious memories his children: Jonquell Pierre, Corvell S. Green, and Octavia Cain; devoted friend, Linda Baldwin; granddaughters: Annishka A. Powe and Camri S. Green; siblings: Linda (Errol Sr.) Florida, Glenda Prude, Karent Hansell, Gaynell Addison, Leon (Sharnique) Armwood Jr., Keithra Armwood, Darnell (Jeffery) Faciane, Reggie (Nikita) Armwood, and Rochon Armwood; aunts: Remona Thomas, Shelia McFarland, Rita Young, and Corlis (Larry) Green; godchildren: Jessica Arevalo, Aniyah McGinnis, Johnathon Prude, and Dejon Smith; 70 nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and close friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Lillian and Leon Armwood Sr.; grandmother Lillian White Clark, grandfather Sherman Armwood Jr., brother-in-law Michael Addison, uncle Arbey Armwood; and aunts: Carol Jean Drummond and Sara Armwood.
 
 

• Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until home-going services at 10 a.m., on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at the New Hope Baptist Church, 1807 Rev. John Raphael Jr. Way, New Orleans, LA 70113, Rev. Jamaal Weathersby, Officiating.

• Masks are required.

• Interment at Restlawn Park Cemetery, 4040 Highway 90 West, Avondale, LA 70094.
