Cecile Marie Mcguire Ferrand

Cecile Marie McGuire Ferrand entered eternal rest Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at the age of 96. She was born November 11,1926 to the late Oscar McGuire and Dorothy Knightshed. Mrs. Ferrand was a lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA and a proud member of My Redeemer Baptist Church.
She leaves to cherish her memories with her two children. Hayes Richardson Sr. (Lillie), and Lawrence Parker Sr. Grandchildren: Darlene, Hayes Jr. (Shephill), Kendric (Andreleta), Lawrence Jr, and Tisha. 16 great-grandchildren, 16 great-great-grandchildren. Devoted daughter Jacquline Chapman, and devoted friends Gaynell Gaines, Gloria James, Annie Miller and Bro. Myles Daniels. Godchildren, George Garner, and Min. Rene Davenport. A host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Mrs. Ferrand is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Ferrand, her two granddaughters Pamela Marie Richardson-Elliott and Monica Felicia Medice.

• Service will be on January 14, 2023 at 10:00am at My Redeemer Baptist Church, 2829 Washington Ave., New Orleans, LA.,70113. Pastor Sha’Teek K Nobles Sr., Officiating.

• Visitation will be at 8:00am until the hour of service.

• Interment: Resthaven Memorial Park, 10400 Old Gentilly Rd., New Orleans, LA.,70127.
