Albert "AL" Junius Dumas Jr

Albert "Al" Junius Dumas Jr., 49, suddenly departed this life and entered into everlasting peace on July 24, 2026.

Al was preceded in death by his parents, Kim Farria Dumas and Albert Dumas Sr.; his grandparents, Betty Jiles Dumas, Marlene Surtain, Samuel Surtain, Theresa Farria, and Felix Farria; and his uncle, Royal Dumas.

Al leaves to carry on his legacy his beloved children: Alexis Pineda, Ariel Pineda, Jade Moore, Darien Trotter, and Albert Dumas III. He is also survived by his loving siblings, Angelita (Corey) Paul, and Freddie (Charlene) Collins, God sister, Vandel Johnson, stepfather, Freddie Collins Sr., former partner and close family friend , Darreal Trotter, 3 nieces 3 nephews, 2 uncles and 18 aunts, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life service on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Faith and Glory Missionary Baptist Church, 7018 Hayne Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70126. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m.
