Shirley E. Brown-Dennis, at the age of 76 was called home on January 6, 2022 in New Orleans, LA. She leaves to cherish her memory 3 sons Clarence Pryor III, nickname (June), Jason Pryor Sr. (Debbie), Gregory Pryor Sr. (Priscilla), and 1 daughter Karen Dennis; grandchildren Ireon Pryor, Jewel West (Austin), Jason Pryor Jr. (Mallory), Jonathan Pryor, Tiffany Willis, Ramany Brown (Kevin), Craig Elzy, (Jennifer), Alexis Pryor, Elisah Pryor, Gregory Pryor Jr., and Alana Pryor; great grandchildren Kaden, Joshua, Josiah, Kennedi, Millian, Aubrey, Austin Jr, Ace, Milan, Delilah, Rania, Analia, Journie, Craig Jr, Ezra, Aryan, and Paisley; Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Shirley was predeceased in death by her parents Ruby Cross Brown and Roy Brown, husband, Freddie Dennis Jr., sister Deloris Hebrard, and grandsons Jordan Pryor, and Warren Pryor.
- Memorial Service is Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 11:00am at Covenant Church, 1973 Ormond Blvd., Destrehan, LA 70047
- Visitation at 10:00AM until the hour of service.

My sincerest Condolences to the family. I will always cherish the memories of cousin Shirley from growing up on Rocheblave in New Orleans and how she kept my Sister’s and I hair pressed and curled for school, Easter and Hoiidays. Blue Magic, The Click of the curling irons and Shurlzy Temple curls. Thank you for créatine those humble Beginnings. I will miss your smile and your humble spirit. May you rest in peace.
