Shelia Wilkerson Gipson, age 66, passed away on Sunday may 6, 2018. The Home-going Celebration commemorating her life will be held on Saturday May 12, 2018 at 10:00am at New Macedonia B. C., 8308 Sheldon St., Metairie, La. with Bishop Percy McCray, Officiating.
Visitation will be held from 9am until the hour of service. Interment: Providence Memorial Park. She Leaves to cherish her many precious memories: her husband, Daniel Gipson, 2 daughters, Sharon (Jared) Gibson of Atlanta, Ga., Kysha (James) Emery of Gonzales, La., 2 sons, Clarence (Aisha) Smith and Louis (Catina) Smith of New Orleans, La., 1 brother, Jesse (Debra) Jones Jr., 2 sisters Cora Turner, and Debra (Milton) Thomas, 1 brother-in-law, Herman Skidmore Sr., 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 1 Godchild, Jatoi Jones Johnson, a loving Stepfather, Jesse Jones Sr., and a host of aunts and uncles.
