Sedric Stewart Sr

Sedric Stewart Sr. 80, of New Orleans, LA Transitioned to be with the Lord on May 19, 2023. He was the devoted, faithful, and protective husband of Gail H. Stewart. He preceded in death by his parents the late Willie Stewart and Veronica Stewart King his daughter Aslean Marie Stewart, grandson Jamal, sisters Geraldine Coleman, Elloise Williams, Bernadine Hughes, Janice Dunmiles, brothers Arthur King and Theodore King Jr. Sedric retired from Northwest Airlines (Delta) and served in the United States Coast Guard. He was a licensed cosmetologist and barber in the states of Tennessee and California. He leaves to cherish his loving memories devoted wife Gail H. Stewart of 22 years, children Sedric jr. (Jackie), Anthony Stewart, Taeya Marie Stewart, Antoine Bean (Kaneisha), and Latoya Taylor (Samuel). His siblings Wilfred Michael King (Trina), Raghib Haqq, Ronald (Nadine) Stewart, Major Shields, Joyce Hogan, Aurelia Stewart. A Host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, God children, nieces, nephews, sister and brother in Laws, cousin’s other relatives, friends, and the Mount Airy Baptist Church Family.

• Celebration of Life Saturday May 27, 2023 at 11:00am at Mount Airy Baptist Church of Boutte 13635 Old Spanish Trail, Boutte La 70039. Service Rev. Clyde J. Staes, Pastor officiating.

• Visitation will begin at 9:00am until the hour of service.

• Interment Mt. Airy Memorial Park Cemetery, 13635 Old Spanish Trail Hwy 631 Boutte, La 70039.
