Rosie Mae Nichols Brown – age 81, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, September 27, 2018. Beloved daughter of the late Leother and Anita Nichols, she was married to Lilton Brown and had two children, Patrick Brown Sr. (Carla) and Corey Brown Sr. (Angell). She was the sister of Francis Powell and Lance Nichols (Zardis); grandmother of Corey Brown Jr., Devin Brown, Patrick Brown Jr., Van Leonard III and Jahman Leonard; great-grandmother of Aaliyah Brown and Kelis and Kyleigh Leonard. Rosie is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family, Trend Setter Barber and Beauty Salon, Hotard Coaches, Capital One Bank (Hibernia), St. Alphonsus School, Bradley Elementary, Mouton Elementary and Schaumburg Elementary are invited to attend funeral services on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 10:00AM at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, 1401 Simon Bolivar Ave., New Orleans, LA. Visitation will be held from 9:00AM until the hour of service. Interment will be private.
