Lucretia Lemon White

Lucretia Lemon White, ,affectionately called “Lu”, was born on September 1, 1955 in New Orleans, LA to the union of the late Charles Alfred Lemon and Barbara Coleman Lemon Sims. On April 22, 2021, the Lord called her home at the age of 65. She leaves to cherish her memories two daughters: Vicki Lemon Smith and A’Shanta A. Coston; her mother, Barbara Lemon Coleman Simms; five grandchildren, Danielle A. Whitaker, Jr. (DJ), Precious O. Butler, Zaya Rose, Kelsey Griffin, and Havana Coston; and three siblings; Tyrone, Perry, and Richard Lemon; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death were her father; grandparents, Willard Coleman and Ophelia Coleman; one brother, Michael Lemon and one grandchild Sheldon Raphael Lemon.
 

• Funeral service will be held Friday May 7th at 10:00 a.m. at New Hope B. C., 1807 Rev. John Raphael Jr. Way, New Orleans, LA 70113.

• Visitation is from 9:00-10:00 am.
