Justin Dominic Martin

Born in New Orleans, LA. on March 25, 1999, Justin Dominic Martin , took his final bow from this stage of life in Frisco, TX. on October 18, 2023, setting the scene for his grand entry into the next. The son of Alysia Dagnogo and the late, Albert P. Martin, Jr., Justin was also embraced as the stepson of Yatchwa Dagnogo as well as Trazarra Wilbon.

He was endearingly called “fat boy” by his Aunt Angie and crowned “King JMart” by his peers; Justin was the cherished younger brother to Aaron Duffus as well as Keith and Kevin Martin. His academic pursuits saw him graduate from Billy Ryan High School in 2017, and subsequently attend Prairie View A&M on an academic scholarship from 2017 to 2019. During his time there, he was at the forefront, leading the iconic “Freshmen Step-Off”. Justin’s presence was magnetic. For those who knew him personally, they would describe him as a brilliant, self-confident and a loyal friend. His infectious smile acted as a beacon, and his compassionate words were a balm to all.

Justin is survived by his great grandfather Alvin Gauff; grandmother Glenda Campbell and grandfather James Taylor (Michelle); his brothers, Aaron Duffus, Keith and Kevin Martin; his nephew Soul and niece Paisley; aunts Michelle (Kevin) Albert, Angie (Johnny) Jones, Atasha (Christopher) King and Alicia Moore; his uncle Alston Campbell; godparents, Jarred Carter and Carol Gauff; his extended family at Concrete Cowboy Frisco and a host of great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
