Joseph “Lil Joe” Martinez entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 26, 2017. He was the loving father of Kiesha Martinez Frank, stepfather of Chinette Armstead Jones, grandfather of Bria Martinez Frank, and sister of Ellen Dionne Alverez. He was employed by Charity Hospital of New Orleans for over 20 years until retirement. Preceded in death by his parents Julia Martinez and Joseph Martinez, Sr., by his siblings Elaine Martinez, Alvin Martinez, Sr. and by his niece Selena Smith. All are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian burial on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 411 N. Rampart Street.
