Herman Leroy (Roy) Cage, born November 12, 1950 (71), to the Late Henry and Olevia Cage, and was called home on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at University Medical Center in New Orleans, LA. He was a native of New Orleans and was educated in the New Orleans Public School System, he attended G.W. Carver Sr. High School. He is survived by 1 son Derell Troy Warner, 2 brothers Henry (Frozene), and James (Duffie) Cage, 3 sisters Lavernia Black, Janet Cage and Debra Scott, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins 1 aunt and 1 uncle. He is preceded in death by his father Henry Cage, mother Olevia Parker Cage and 1 brother David Cage.
- Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend Funeral Service on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at Greater Little Rock Baptist Church, 10201 Dwyer Rd., New Orleans, LA 70127.
- Visitation at 9:00 A.M. until the hour of service.
- Interment: Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 34888 Grantham College Drive, Slidell, LA., 70460.

Early in the morning, when I was headed to school as child stopping to pick up LilDeb his sista he holler out Lil Indian!!!…I love him like a brother of another mother…he called me Lil Indian because of my hair and the fight for survival. I love you Brother, Roy.
