Frances L.H. Hill – age 93, passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2018 while visiting her granddaughter’s home in Houston, TX. She was born August 17, 1925 in Hattiesburg, MS to the late Eula McDonald Huderson and Van Huderson. Her stepmother, the late Indiana Washington Huderson helped to rear her. Sister Hill is the mother of former Orleans Parish School Board member Cynthia H. Cade and Kenneth “Kenny Boy/Chick” Huderson, both of New Orleans, LA. She is the grandmother of Pastor Angel Cade Meola of Houston, TX.
Sister Hill was employed as a patient information clerk at Charity Hospital for more than 30 years until Hurricane Katrina. A funeral service honoring her life will be held Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Light City Church, 6117 St. Claude Ave., New Orleans, LA at 12 Noon, Leonard Lucas officiating. Visitation will be held from 10AM-11:45AM. Interment Providence Memorial Park, 8200 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA.
