Herbert Pierce, Sr. – passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at the age of 26. Born in New Orleans, LA to Chontell Thompson and Donald Ray Johnson, Jr., Donald was a celebrated football player at John McDonough High School and attended Minnesota West University on an athletic scholarship. After college, he settled in Pensacola, FL, where he accepted a position at Alorica Co., and remained until his passing. He leaves to cherish his memory, both parents, Chontell Thompson and Donald R. Johnson, Jr. (Donette); 2 brothers, Jaylen Seals and Donte Lewis; 2 sisters, Anjae Johnson and Danai Lewis; 2 grandparents, Belinda Thompson and Yolanda Arceneaux; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A funeral service honoring Donald’s life will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 11:00AM at St. James Methodist Church, 1925 Ursuline Avenue, New Orleans, LA. Visitation will be held from 9:00AM until the hour of service..
