Derrick “Bud” Jarrowentered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at the age of 49. He was born on April 28, 1972 in New Orleans, LA and was the youngest son of the late David Jones Sr. and Henrietta T. Jones. Derrick gave his life to Christ and always gave God honor and praise for he knew without God he would he nothing. He was educated in the Orleans Parish School System and attended Booker T. Washington High School. To know Derrick was to know that he was one of the most kindest and sweetest people you could know. He loved unconditionally, and never let life change who he was. Derrick is survived by his siblings: Edwin L. Jarrow, Reginald Jarrow, Marlo Jarrow-Hill, Michael Jarrow, Roseland Jarrow-Butler, David Jones Jr., Pamela Hamilton, Valerie Journee, Frank Jones, Emily Jones, Sheila Bradford and Claudia Connors, and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
- Service will be on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 10:00am at Watson Memorial Teaching Ministries, 4400 St Charles Ave., New Orleans, LA. 70115.
- Visitation will at 9:00am until the hour of service.
- Interment Green Street Cemetery, 1701 Hillary Street. New Orleans, LA.
- Due to Covid-19 mask are required.
