Corin Shawn Wroten was born on January 16, 1978, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He departed this life peacefully on November 7, 2022. He was 44 years old and a graduate of L.E. Rabuoin High School, Class of 1996. Devoted son of Alice Wroten. Beloved father of Corin S. Wroten, Jr. (College Station, Texas) and Saddhius Wroten (New Orleans, La.) Brother of Cayada Wroten. Uncle of Spencer Freeman, III; Nephew of Arthur Jackson, Jr. (Maxine), Margaret Coleman (Oakland, Calif), Katie Holmes (El Sobrante, Calif) and he was especially adored by his aunt, Josie Flowers; and friend like a brother to Charles Watkins. Corin is also survived by a host of cousins and devoted friends.

I’ve been around Corin as a Friend/Brother for roughly 30yrs and I can honestly say that it has been a huge blessing to have a friend like Co We’ve been through so much to where labeling Us as real blood brothers wouldn’t bring Us any closer! As true friends we’ve been through so much, the good and the bad, l’m gonna miss our talks, laughs and most of all your presence get your rest until we meet again.
