Calvin Leon Fields was born November 25, 1943, to Jessie Mae (Clark) Arnold, and George Fields in New Orleans, Louisiana. His over 30 year career was a Diesel/Auto Mechanic and he served in the U.S Army. He married is wife Michelle July 30, 1997, in New Orleans La. where they resided and was then relocated to Lake Charles La. in 2005 after hurricane Katrina this year made 25 years of marriage. Calvin always put his family first he was a great husband, father, uncle, cousin and friend.
Calvin passed peacefully on October 5, 2022, in Slidell LA. at the age of 78.
Proceeded in death by his mother Jessie Mae (Clark) Arnold, father George Fields, sister Lisa Arnold, son Broderick McGowan, Aunt Annie Bell Clark, Grandmother Mama Julia Fields, Uncle Lynnwood Clark, Cousin Calvin Dorsey. He is survived by his wife Michelle (McGowan) Fields, Joyce Dorsey, New Orleans, LA (sisters) Tinetta,Tetrault, and Iris Wickham, children Trenia Dorsey -Magee (Derrick), Katina Fields, Denise Fields, Karen Fields (Manuel), Jasmine Fields (Mileage Jones),Jessica Fields, Kevin Fields ,(Chanell) and Katie Fields, 24 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
