Broderick Brent Franklin, Age 66, of New Orleans Louisiana sadly left us on March 3, 2023. Broderick is survived by daughter Dionne Sylvester (Melvin), Sons Kenyatta Williams, and Brent Lewis (Angelica). 9 Granddaughters, 8 Grandsons, 13 Great-Grandchildren, Sister Patrica O’Neal, Niece/Sisters Minister Deandrea Brown (LadyBird), Georzett Bowman, NIkia Russel, nephews / Brothers Vincent Brown (Michelle), Jermaine Jackson, Elridge Frey (Peanut)(Tracy) and Derrick Frey (Leslie), 1 God Daughter Johnese Smith, Devoted Friend Hereatha Allen. And a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Best Friend Joseph Goodjoint.
Broderick was preceded in death by his Parents, William Franklin and Myrtle Dogen Brown Franklin, Grandparents Joseph and Della Barber, Brother Wilfred Brown Jr., Sister Jacqueline (Jackie) Robertson, Grandson Tyrone Issac, Nephew/ Brother Melvin Bowman, and Life Partner, Audry Tate.
- A Funeral service will be held in his honor at 10:00 am on March 11, 2023 at Bethel Lutheran Church located at 4127 Franklin Ave. New Orleans, LA 70122.
- Visitation will be held at 9:00 am until the hour of service.
- Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park located at 1225 Whitney Ave Terrytown, LA 70056.
