Brian Oatis Stemley transitioned to his earthly home on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at the age of 48. He was born on September 24, 1973, in New Orleans, LA to the late Joyce Stemley Dickerson and Clarence Johnson. He was the grandson of the late Annie Stemley, Percy McKay and the late foster grandparents August and Olivia Gabriel. He leaves to cherish his memory his stepfather Reginald Dickerson, Sr., his loving and devoted brother Fredrick (Sherrana) Stemley, one loving niece Dawnishia Davis, three aunts Ellen Stemley, Dorothy (Raymond) Landry, Patricia Henry, one uncle Clarence Williams, three foster aunts, Juanita Cunningham, Elvera (A.J) Williams, Deiontrenece (Blake) Franklin and one uncle Stanley (Ann) Lewis. He was preceded in death by his brother Eddie Lee Stemley; five aunts Annie Mae Randolph, Edna Mae Johnson, Augusta Kerry, Laura Baptiste and Cecile Faulk; three uncles Gerald Henry, Roosevelt Randolph, Willie Williams, and one foster uncle Anthony Gaskin. He is survived by a host of other relatives and friends.
- Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services at New Orleans Bible Fellowship Baptist Church, 4430 Bundy Rd in New Orleans on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at 10:00 am.
- Visitation from 9:00 a.m. to the hour of service.
- Burial will be held at Providence Memorial Park Cemetery, 8200 Airline Highway, Metairie, Louisiana.
