It’s so very hard to say goodbye. You were my hero. A very compassionate, supportive grandmother, coach and friend. We would talk and laugh for hours, sometimes. You taught me how to sing hymns, cook, and demonstrate love and compassion to others. I’m so glad God chose you as my grandmother. While I am saddened that I’ll never hear your voice, live in this life again, I have tons of voicemails that I’ve saved because I knew eventually this day would come. I’ll always hold your memory near and dear in my heart. All that I am is because of all that you exemplified. So see you later, beautiful. You were a fierce warrior, in the Spirit. Now, you deserve this God appointed rest. I imagine you’re up there singing and dancing and making the best red beans and potato salad heaven ever tasted! I’m so glad that you have found your residence, your home, eternal in the heavens not made with hands. I will forever miss you. I love you Maw Maw,

    Your Granddaughter,
    Domonique
