Ada Hamptonwas born on November 14, 1941 in Gloster, MS to the late Mark “Snake” Brown and Ruby Shepherd Brown. Sr. On December 20, 2021, the Lord peacefully called her to reward. She leaves to cherish her memories, two sons: Robert (Trina) and Terry (Denise) Brown; two daughters: Lori Brown and Leslye Hampton Green, MD; one Bonus-daughter: Belinda Hampton (Aaron) McGee; two sisters: Velma Brown (Ronald) Blackmon, PhD and Lynda Cain; five grandsons: Robert Jr (Brittany), Terry Jr (Francis), Christopher (Brandi), Ashton, and Stephen Brown; four granddaughters: Tequia (Charles) Willis, Lindsey (Damon) McGuire, Morgan Green and McKenna Green; her God-father, Brian King; twelve great-grandchildren, nine bonus grandchildren, ten Bonus great-grandchildren; and a host of cherished cousins, friends, and loved ones.
- Funeral will be held at New Hope Baptist Church, 1807 Rev. John Raphael, Jr. Wy, Rev. Jamaal Weathersby, Pastor, on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 11:00 am.
- Viewing is from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
